Oceans Restaurant is a locally and globally-inspired seafood restaurant that was founded by Vancouver’s award-winning Toptable Group. Their philosophy is to create a timeless and approachable dining experience. Executive Chef Andy Kitko’s vision for the menu was inspired by the Pacific, Atlantic, and Mediterranean shores that feature the freshest catches available – all accented by seasonal ingredients. So, let’s look at the inside bar and dining area for a sense of dining in a Cruise Ship Dining Room.

It was a rainy Monday night when my girlfriend and I got to the restaurant, and I wasn’t all that hungry. I ordered Free Range Chicken with fingerling potatoes, leeks, and roasted lemon jus. Of course, first comes the bread.

Well, as a big chicken eater, especially when dining out, I can tell you that this chicken was fabulous. It really was. It had great flavoring and was super tender. The fingerling potatoes were a perfect side. No desser for met tonight, but I couldn’t resist sharing their choices.

I completed my dinner with a cup of English Breakfast Tea.
