If you like to cruise but don’t have the time to take one in the near future, then take yourself to Oceans Restaurant at the corner of 19th Street and Park Avenue South. Oceans is a fabulous seafood restaurant.

Oceans Restaurant is a locally and globally-inspired seafood restaurant that was founded by Vancouver’s award-winning Toptable Group. Their philosophy is to create a timeless and approachable dining experience. Executive Chef Andy Kitko’s vision for the menu was inspired by the Pacific, Atlantic, and Mediterranean shores that feature the freshest catches available – all accented by seasonal ingredients. It was a rainy Monday night when my girlfriend and I got to the restaurant, and I wasn’t all that hungry. I ordered Free Range Chicken with fingerling potatoes, leeks, and roasted lemon jus. Of course, first comes the bread.

Well, as a big chicken eater, especially when dining out, I can tell you that this chicken was fabulous. It really was. It had great flavoring and was super tender. The fingerling potatoes were a perfect side. No desser for met tonight, but I couldn’t resist sharing their choices.

I completed my dinner with a cup of English Breakfast Tea.
