NEW YORK – A Pasta Bar in Manhattan’s SOHO

What a great dining experience! A friend of mine got a new credit card through Wells Fargo called BILT. The card offered several curated dining experiences, and my girlfriend made a fabulous choice. The offer included a three-course meal and two drinks per person, with tips included. And I can’t say enough good things about the dining experience, so let’s start at the beginning.

A Pasta Bar is located at 330 West Broadway and Grand Street, just down the street from the Soho Grand Hotel.

Now, you could eat at the Bar, outside or inside, but in our case, the restaurant was closed except for the people who had reserved the experience with this card, so we all ate inside.

The menu was extensive for this invitation-only meal, so I’ll post it for you to see and share the photos of each dish we enjoyed. Each dish, whether we shared it or not, was consistently excellent. Each dish was complex but delightfully light and heavenly. So here is the menu for this event. I started with a glass of Prosecco.

The first three dishes, named “For The Table,” we shared.

The second group of foods under “Pasta Tasting” were served in individual portions except for the Spaghettone Al Pomodori, which we shared again. Again, I can’t speak highly enough about the quality and taste of each dish.

As if all of this food was enough, the last part of the menu was labeled Dessert for the Table. Now, I adore desserts and have enjoyed many desserts in my life, but these two desserts have topped the list. The Tiramisu was elegant, light, fluffy, and melted in my mouth. It was such an effortless experience that I thought I was in dining heaven. And the Gelato Di Pistachio was no words divine. NO WORDS DIVINE!

Wow, what can I say? Indeed, this was one of my best restaurant experiences on all levels. Each dish was elegantly presented, and the staff was extremely courteous. It was just incredible. So, if you want fabulous Italian food in the West Broadway area, don’t hesitate. It won’t disappoint.
