My cousin and I recently decided to eat lunch out. We have similar dining tastes, so while standing on the corner of 83rd and Broadway, we googled Mediterranean food, and sure enough, right across from where we were standing was a Mediterranean restaurant named Lokal.

Lokal specializes in cuisine from all over the Mediterranean. They offer a flavorful mix of Turkish, Greek, and Middle Eastern dishes. They use the purest of olive oils, Mediterranean cheeses, and a twist of American Classic food. They are also known for their amazing homemade breads. With that in mind, I ordered an Avocado and Tomato Salad. But first, check out this amazing home-baked, warm, and flavorful bread!

The Avocado and Tomato salad had fresh tomato, cucumber, red onions, corn, and fresh parsley tossed with an olive oil and lemon juice dressing which I had delivered on the side.

I ordered the most wonderful helping of prepared salmon as an add-on to the salad.

The food and its preparation were divine. The food was fresh and well prepared. The salmon was cooked perfectly. In addition to fabulous food, the ambiance was a sunny kind of casual. It’s ideal for couples, dates, families, or just friends looking for a pleasurable dining experience. It’s also reasonably priced! Lokal is an all-around nice and comfortable dining experience!
