The Wilson NYC Restaurant rocks! I met a girlfriend there the other evening for Mother’s Day. The Wilson is a new restaurant located at 132 West 27th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues.

I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. The food and service were excellent. The outside area was dog friendly and spacious. Seating is available in the atrium or inside the main restaurant. Prices were fair for the location and cuisine.

Here is the outside atrium part and the inside bar area.

The Wilson serves classic interpretations of high-quality northeastern types of food.

What to order?

I selected the Brick Chicken with lemon and cherry peppers. My girlfriend and I decided to split the dish because our lovely waitress said that it was a large portion.

It was fabulous. I have eaten chicken dishes in many restaurants, but this ranks as one of the best-prepared recipes I have ever eaten. The flavoring of the lemon and the cherry peppers were divine.

The chicken dish was a la carte so we ordered 2 sides–whipped mashed potatoes with roasted garlic and broccolini with garlic and evoo (extra virgin olive oil).

These two sides were outstanding!

I decided on dessert because one seemed too good not to try. It was the Pistachio Olive Cake with orange marmalade topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

It was incredibly delicious, like nothing I have ever tasted! I saved some for breakfast the next morning.

I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. It’s comfortable, relaxing, has great service, and the food is excellent.

It has my thumbs up! Try it when in the area.

There are so many beautiful songs in the first and second acts, too many to list. Still, song after song and with mindboggling dance presentations, the theatergoers waited in anticipation to hear Grizabella’s full performance of Memory, and it didn’t disappoint. It was so powerful that everyone in the theater held their breath momentarily.

The Conductor celebrated emotionally charged discourse governed by mutual respect, intellectual rigor, and passionate argument without the hostility, recriminations, and violence sometimes seen in today’s national debate. As with any well-crafted, intellectually fueled discourse, Reed’s work evoked exciting questions and ideas for viewers desiring continued debate.

The thrill of the disco era returned to 54 Below on March 1 for an exciting night as the famous and glamorous nightclub opened the dance floor to all who came to participate in two sold-out shows of Turn the Beat Around.
