Rumrunners in Cape Coral fits the bill if you’re looking for harborside dining with indoor and outdoor seating options and a hearty seafood menu. Some patrons arrive by boat. They also host a wide selection of tropical drinks like their Mint Lemonade and Key Lime Colada.

Southwest Florida is Growing

As you may know, the Southwest Florida population is booming with people arriving from all over the country. It’s a great time to make new friends and settle into the balmy sub-tropical weather with its beautiful scenery, birds, and crystal clear water of the Gulf of Mexico. Having arrived from New York, it was a delight to experience the dry, sunny weather of the winter months. It is truly a place for year-round outdoor fun. I haven’t met anyone yet who misses ice-covered roads, potholes, shoveling snow, and weeks of sub-freezing weather in the northern climes.

A Place for New Friends

With some friends new to the area, I recently went to Rumrunners for dinner. We chose the outdoor seating with the lovely marina view. It was also a great place to see the sunset as we dined.

Here are the seating options.

The salmon entree was cooked well-done and deliciously crispy. The dessert was refreshing and seemed perfect for the setting. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal and plans to return!

There are so many beautiful songs in the first and second acts, too many to list. Still, song after song and with mindboggling dance presentations, the theatergoers waited in anticipation to hear Grizabella’s full performance of Memory, and it didn’t disappoint. It was so powerful that everyone in the theater held their breath momentarily.

The Conductor celebrated emotionally charged discourse governed by mutual respect, intellectual rigor, and passionate argument without the hostility, recriminations, and violence sometimes seen in today’s national debate. As with any well-crafted, intellectually fueled discourse, Reed’s work evoked exciting questions and ideas for viewers desiring continued debate.

The thrill of the disco era returned to 54 Below on March 1 for an exciting night as the famous and glamorous nightclub opened the dance floor to all who came to participate in two sold-out shows of Turn the Beat Around.
