As we entered Balade Lebanese Restaurant in Manhattan’s East Village neighborhood, we were greeted by friendly, attentive, and accommodating staff. It was the beginning of an enjoyable dining experience with genuinely fabulous service and smiles all around!
I met my girlfriend at the Franchia Vegan Cafe with heated outdoor dining at 35th Street and Park Avenue in Manhattan’s Murray Hill neighborhood. OK, it was so cold out, but you got to love that there were adjustable heating pads on each chair! The restaurant is billed as “a multi-level space with a mix of modern simplicity and traditional Korean decor set off by heavy dark wood grating…a beautiful and unique space for a relaxing dining experience.”
Lokal Mediterranean Kitchen was an all-around nice, comfortable dining experience with fresh, well prepared dishes and a sunny kind of casual ambiance.
I loved the spaciousness of Cathédrale French restaurant with its delicious Mediterranean cuisine that painted a picture of the coastal cuisine of Southern France, with brushstrokes of Italy, Spain, and Greece.
My choice of the salmon at Nice Matin was one of the finest I’ve ever had. The combination of the salmon on the lentils with shaved raw Brussels sprouts cooked in lemon vinaigrette was off-the-charts amazing. Fabulous!
If you like to cruise but don’t have the time to take one in the near future, then take yourself to Oceans Restaurant at the corner of 19th Street and
Edgar’s Café serves delicious food on Manhattan’s Upper West Side and is billed as a “Magical place with a cafe, wine, beer, food & desserts.”
One nice night at the beginning of October, my girlfriend and I decided to meet for dinner at the David Burke Tavern. It’s a charming restaurant located at 135 East 62nd Street between Lexington and Park Avenues.
The Electric Lemon restaurant is located at the top of the five-star Equinox Hotel in Hudson Yards. The rooftop bar boasts an 8,000-square-foot rooftop garden with a monumental Jaume Plensa sculpture. It overlooks the Hudson River and the city skyline. They possess a wide range of food and drinks, from light bites to seasonal offerings at dinner and rooftop brunch on the weekends. It’s open all year round because of the sleek and expansive dining room and fire-pits on the al fresco terrace.
Keens Steak House serves fantastic meal options in a beautiful, historical setting where the likes of Teddy Roosevelt and Albert Einstein dined
