I love my neighborhood. It has many great places to eat, and I just found another gem at 18th Street and 2nd Avenue called Posto Thin Crust Pizza.
Ultra-thin Crust Pizza
Posto is a no-frills place founded by Antonio Gomez with friend and business partner Jonathan Tweedy. The restaurant grew a cult-like following and became renowned for its ultra-thin crust pizza. In a relaxed neighborhood, Posto is an establishment with a high-quality menu that includes pizzas, pasta, specialty sandwiches, salads, desserts, and a carefully curated beer and wine list. Its mission is to offer fresh food that is high quality, consistently excellent, and affordable, and yes, it does check all those boxes!
Here are the outside and inside views of Posto.

What to order?

Pleasantly Surprised
I ordered the kale and manchego salad with delicately seasoned, grilled, sliced chicken breast. While researching manchego cheese, I discovering that it is produced in the La Mancha region of Spain (home to Don Quixote) and is made from pasteurized sheep’s milk. Then, I had it on the side with the dressing and was pleasantly surprised that its taste resembled parmesan without the tang; it was truly fabulous!

Delicate Crust
She liked the salad, and I had a slice of the delicious pizza. Such a delightful, delicate crust added to an enjoyable dining experience.
