Celebrating New Year’s Eve at Rossini’s Italian Restaurant is a special pairing since it’s my birthday. So, I get to celebrate two fun evenings in one. I wound up in Rossini’s Italian Restaurant at 108 East 38th Street this New Year’s Eve. I enjoyed the experience!

45 Years

Rossini’s opened its doors on February 8th, 1978, and has served its patrons for over 45 years. Romano Bernaz opened his first restaurant in 1953 after serving successful apprenticeships in many fine Italian restaurants.

Finest Ingredients

Owner and master chef Romano Bernaz uses only the finest ingredients. These ingredients and Bernaz’s culinary knowledge have resulted in a menu and presentation that have become the favorite of many discriminating New York City dining patrons.

True Italian Cuisine

Rossini’s is operated by Romano Bernaz, his sons Raymond and Gerry, and his nephew, Josip Cernjul. The restaurant’s success and longevity are due to the family’s constant presence and philosophy of serving true Italian Cuisine in an ever-evolving, creative, and delicious fashion.

What to order?

First comes the bread basket!

I chose a favorite dish Pollo Scarpariello.

The dish featured chicken breast, potatoes, and broccoli sauteed with white wine, lemon, garlic, and rosemary. It was delicious- fresh, tasty, and “just” nice! I wish you all a very Healthy and Happy 2024, and if you’re in The Murray Hill Area, don’t hesitate to try Rossini’s.

It won’t disappoint!
