As we entered Balade Lebanese Restaurant in Manhattan’s East Village neighborhood, we were greeted by friendly, attentive, and accommodating staff. It was the beginning of an enjoyable dining experience with genuinely fabulous service and smiles all around!
Edgar’s Café serves delicious food on Manhattan’s Upper West Side and is billed as a “Magical place with a cafe, wine, beer, food & desserts.”
While Via Quadronno is best known for its cappuccino and panini sandwiches, they boast an extensive menu to impress tourists and locals. And, if you’re an early riser, you can drop by for an adorably decorated cappuccino and a chocolate croissant.
The Bryant Park Grill next to the New York Public Library hosts a great menu and both indoor and outdoor seating.
At Balthazar French Café I started with Avian water and the Friseé aux Lardons with chicory salad with a warm bacon shallot vinaigrette.

French dining at La Grande Boucherie, a heavenly slice of Paris on West 53rd Street, is a place to display my celebratory Eiffel Tower earrings. This is a restaurant de l’amour. It is a beautiful, relaxing, and delightful respite from the city’s hustle and bustle.
