NEW YORK – Egyptian Dining at Casa La Femme
It was time to try something different, so my friend and I went to Casa La Femme, an Egyptian restaurant at 140 Charles Street in Manhattan’s West Village.
You might consider Casa La Femme a romantic type of restaurant. At about 7 pm, they lower the lights, and you can book a private tent to enjoy your dinner. My friend and I dined near the bar in a non-tent area. A Belly Dancer Show was a fun addition to the evening.
I want to add that Casa La Femme’s menu fits any vegan, vegetarian, halal, health conscious or uninhibited diet. They have pre-fixe options, catering, and a kids’ menu to suit your preferences no matter what you choose.

Let’s explore this hidden gem through a collection of pics.

After they lower the lights…

So what did I order?
Though the menu had many choices, I decided to keep it simple and ordered Organic Free Range Bone Out Half Chicken, which came with white rice. It was very tasty and well done!

And, of course, there’s always that perfect cup of coffee.

And yes, here’s that Belly Dancer who made the experience extra fun!

I highly recommend Casa La Femme for a fun dining experience that can transport you out of New York City and maybe, just maybe, Cairo!
