Gramercy Tavern: A Love Letter to One of NYC’s Finest

Founded in 1994 by Danny Meyer, a restaurateur known for his refined hospitality, Gramercy Tavern embodies all the delightful aspects of dining in New York City. Located in a historic building just north of Union Square, the restaurant has earned nine James Beard Awards, including “Outstanding Restaurant” and “Outstanding Chef in America.”

Saltbae Burger

Saltbae’s New York Burger consists of six ounces of tender Wagyu beef with lettuce, tomato, and onions. I opted out of the Pepper Jack cheese. With the burger came fabulous French fries. The quality of the beef, fries, and their respective seasonings were over the top delicious. I plan to return soon and sample other burger options. If you’re in the Gramercy Park area and crave a simple but delicious classic meal, you’ll want to try Saltbae.
