The brother Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell created the book and are back at it again to make music and lyrics of pure unadulterated fun. Mrs. Doubtfire at the Stephen Sondheim theater is an update of the 1993 film starring Robin Williams, but funnier and more entertaining.

Attentive and friendly serving staff brought fresh bread with olive oil and drinks almost immediately, seating was comfortable and quiet. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious.
Comedians tackle the great debate of talk vs. text. Two teams 5 minutes a piece argue their case, and then the anchor on each team gets 7 minutes to wrap. The audience applause denotes the winner. You probably think the talk team won since the winner was recognized verbally – WRONG. Texting won by a razor-slim margin hardly audible.
The show/event hosted by the authors Kathy Najimy, Linda Perry, Chely Wright, and Lauren Blitzer was Chicken Soup for the soul of women. After that eponymous venue at Symphony space, many were excited to get home, devour the book and meet more empowered women. Included with the ticket price were photos with various artists and autographs, obtained like true starstruck fans on the book’s pages.
A delicious dining experience with attentive staff and great ambiance. The North End is a fabulous place to explore and should be part of your itinerary for experiencing the rich variety of cultural and historical landmarks of one of our oldest cities.
My Moment is 106 stories collected by Kirsten Chenoweth, Kathy Najimy, Linda Perry, Chely Wright, and Lauren Blitzer. A multimedia event showcasing the stories of several women was held at Symphony Space. As Lauren Blitzer said, “we had to get scrappy; that’s what girls do.”
Cuban food is a marvelous benefit of visiting South Florida. We’ve been to a few Cuban restaurants and keep returning to El Tropical in Cape Coral. They serve fresh, delicious fare and offer a large variety of authentic recipes. The staff is friendly and attentive and the service is excellent. Seating is homey and comfortable and local patrons rave about the selections, including those with a Cuban heritage .
It is not a happy birthday. No full life savored and enjoyed or marked with celebration. Birthday Candles is traumatic and not for those that wear their emotions on their sleeve or recently have participated in life.
Everything is gray in David Byrne’s `Utopia. The suits, the instruments played Byrne’s hair, and even the gray subject matter he ponders – the brain. Byrne’s cynicism is transparent. From Utopia upside down to discussing his motivation for including songs.
