The Players 2nd Annual Artists Exhibition
In keeping with the founder’s wish, 25 pieces of artwork were displayed, allowing members and guests to mingle as they enjoyed the compositions showcased in the library. Among the renowned artists in attendance was Peggy Kinstler, spouse of famed portrait artist Everett Raymond Kinstler, showing her 24” x 12” photograph entitled “Everett and Friends Viewing Sargent’s ‘The Children of Edward Darley Boit.”

A Midsummer Night’s Dream
The troupe aptly expressed the story with its twists and turns, plot and subplots, and its sojourn into the supernatural world of the night forest. We were indeed transported into the supernatural moonlit dreamscape of fairies. We experienced the mystical, love potions, and the droll interactions of humans and pixies.

In 2017, NYC photographer, creative director of Archigrafika, and Chair of The Players art committee Michael Gerbino began sending out monthly email blasts entitled Artwork at The Players. He wanted to spotlight the priceless historical artifacts housed in the Edwin Booth mansion at 16 Gramercy Park South with each correspondence.
