It was my last night in Miami, and I wanted to take my sister-in-law to a unique restaurant for being such a great hostess. She suggested Petralunga located at 7601 E. Treasure Drive, Unit Cu-21 in North Bay Village, and off we went.
Petralunga is an Italian brand specializing in contemporary gourmet pizza, Mediterranean cuisine, and cocktails. Founded by Italian restaurateurs, this concept ultimately made its home in Miami. The goal of this restaurant is for a customer experience that combines pizza gourmet with mixology cocktails, a select wine list, and rocking the night away.
Their recipes use the finest and purest ingredients. Add these food elements to an elegant, light, and playful environment with a panoramic view of the tiny marine of North Bay Village, and an evening’s dining adventure is sublime.
Here is a view of Petralunga’s entrance.

What you see when you first enter 🙂.

We decided to eat outside. Note the marina backdrop on the right side. 🙂

What to order?
Determined to have room for dessert, I went light on the food and ordered grilled octopus with fingerling potatoes, kalamata olives, cherry tomatoes, onions, and bell pepper.

The portion was large and delicious, and I only ate about half.
Yes, it’s dessert time.
I ordered a molten lava chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream on a bed of crushed nuts accompanied by a cup of delicious black coffee.

The cake and ice cream were so good I left nothing on my dish.
I must admit that the dining experience was intoxicating, beginning with the food, sitting near the marina, and reveling in the European decor.
I recommend Petralunga if you’re near North Bay Village. I certainly plan to return when I’m back in Miami
